Blau beschichtete Instrumente
Anwendungsgebiet für diese Instrumente ist die Elektrochirurgie. Die blaue Polyamid-Beschichtung dient als elektrischer Durchschlagschutz. Polyamid ist von der FDA zugelassen.

The field of application for these instruments is that of electrosurgery. The blue polyamide coating serves to protect against electric shock. Polyamide is approved by the FDA.

  

Schwarz beschichtete Instrumente
Schwarz beschichtete Instrumente kommen in der Laserchirurgie zum Einsatz. Eine schwarze Ti-Al-N-Schicht auf den Instrumenten verhindert Lichtreflexionen durch den Laser. Die Beschichtung besitzt zudem eine hohe Härte, ist kratzfest, diffusionssperrend und körperverträglich.

Black-coated instruments
Black-coated instruments are used in laser surgery. A black Ti-Al-N coating on the instruments prevents the reflection of light from the laser. The coating layer also features a high level of hardness, is scratch-proof, diffusion-inhibiting and safe for use on the human body.
